About Us

Who We Are

Janna Gingras is a native Northwesterner and

graduated from the University of Washington

with an undergradute degree in Psychology

and a masters degree in social work.

Liz Illg has an MSW in organizational development from the University of Washington and has worked in the nonprofit sector as program manager, executive director, project coordinator and trainer.

Liz and Janna have served the nonprofit community for a total of more than 60 years. As board members, volunteers, and paid staff of nonprofits, their experience includes governance, planning, fundraising, and program implementation. Liz currently serves as the President of the Board of the San Juan County Community Network and as Councilmember for the Town of Friday Harbor.

They are former owners of Post San Juan, a small business in Friday Harbor and are active in community activities.

Nonprofits Unlimited promotes organizational efficiency and sustainability by providing training, administrative services, mission-based fundraising, and confidential consulting to nonprofit boards, agency staff, and community groups.
